  • 5/5 from Byron Morgan, attended Jun 2026: My partner and I had a fantastic time it was an surprise for our anniversary, we both loved the experience.
  • 5/5 from Anran Ding, attended Jun 2026: I really enjoyed this pottery class. The studio is on the second floor, with easy parking right outside, which was very convenient. The teacher was gentle, patient, and guided us through both making and designing the piece. I made a plate, and the two-hour session felt just right. The teacher was very responsible throughout and gave helpful advice whenever needed. A lovely and relaxing experience overall.
  • 5/5 from Nicole Smith, attended May 2026: We really enjoyed this class, it gives you a new appreciation for all the beautiful pottery work out there. Not as easy as it looks, however our teacher was fabulous and made it fun and easy to make our bowls. Would absolutely go back!
  • 4/5 from Saba Sankauskas, attended May 2026: Great, fun activity! Would recommend
  • 1/5 from Jack McDonough-Stephens, attended May 2026: Poor class sadly. It was a fun experience, simply because we tried something new. However throughout the session we were not really shown what to do, or how to do it. There was no guidance at all from the mentor, no direction on what we can do or make. It was very much “do what you like!” Which is not helpful as someone with no experience. I don’t know what I can do? Or how to do it? Secondly, we were left with long periods of time with no mentoring at all. The mentor would just disappear and re-appear throughout the session and often left the group to just figure it out ourselves, or just sit there waiting for some direction. My partner and I were happy with our clay products before everyone had finished and sat there for 20 minutes until we were told “you can go outside and paint them by the way” again, we’re new, we had no idea, we just sat literally watching clay dry without knowing we can continue on. Finally, our final product has been with the studio for over a month now. I’ve made several attempts by email and phone number to organise when we can collect our product and I have heard nothing. No response at all, not even an acknowledgement that my message has been received. So not quite sure if I’ll ever see what we made again? Which is the main reason for leaving this review. The class itself was average but at least we get a cool handmade mug at the end right? But I’m not getting any response.

We learned a lot and the 2 hours session was just enough time to mae a mug and decorate it. The gift card was great present and fun way to celebrate my 50th year. Thanks so much to Tracey for making it a wonderful night!

  • 5/5 from John Babu, attended Feb 2026: It was really great experience
  • 5/5 from Archer Truscott, attended Feb 2026: I booked this as a surprise for my girlfriend, without high hopes of enjoying the class much myself. I was incorrect, it was great fun and I'm pretty sure my pottery skills are likely award-winning now. Definitely give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

  • 5/5 from Deborah Peoples, attended Dec 2025: Such an intimate night with just my partner and I being guided by our tutor who was so calm, and quietly spoken. We were left to ourselves to paint and decorate our creation, where we shared a drink and enjoyed each other's company.

  • 5/5 from Will Di Fulvio, attended Dec 2025: The teacher was very helpful and patient with us! A small, intimate class and we loved every second of it! Would highly recommend - it’s harder than you think but so worth giving it a shot
  • 3/5 from Jordan Saliba, attended Dec 2025: The teacher was knowledgeable but was in a bit of a rush with clients. A little intimidating and needs to work on friendly customer service :)
  • 3/5 from Amrutha Balasubramanian, attended Dec 2025: It was my husband’s birthday and our anniversary so I gifted this experience to him. The instructor maintained a very serious demeanor, which made it seem like he wasn’t very interested in teaching. More guidance would have been helpful. My pot broke because it was too fragile, and we weren’t instructed on how to properly handle it after making it. The experience would have been much better if he had been more welcoming and engaging. What I really like about them is that they’re pretty quick to respond, even if you need to make changes to the date or time.
  • 5/5 from Simon Lee, attended Oct 2025: Nicole was awesome she accommodated my deaf wife and was a true professional
  • 3/5 from Nidhi Shetty, attended Oct 2025: Overall the experience was okay. The teacher was helpful but we had expected it to be a fun class or tailored to a date night as that’s what it said in the title. But it was just a regular class, nothing particularly memorable.
  • 5/5 from Ava Sheard, attended Sep 2025: Fabulous class. Not rushed (for a beginner) but also not too slow. Teacher was helpful when we needed her to be but allowed us to experiment too. I loved that there was time to decorate as well. Highly recommend
  • 5/5 from Trisha Jones, attended Aug 2025: Was a great night - the teacher was very helpful. Just need to find time to pick up our finished pieces
  • 5/5 from Andy Hollingshead, attended Jul 2025: The class was just my girlfriend and I, our teacher was so kind and patient with us and we had an amazing time, plenty of help which was great as we were beginners. Couldn’t recommend enough :)
  • 5/5 from Syakiratul Sheh, attended Jul 2025: Nicole, our teacher, was truly wonderful. She kindly guided us in creating various shapes, proving to be exceptionally helpful for those new to pottery. It was, in its entirety, an amazing experience.
  • 5/5 from David Phillips, attended Jul 2025: Tom was very friendly and a helpful teacher. Love that we could attend on a Tuesday night as well. Thank you!
  • 4/5 from Carole Khaw, attended Jul 2025: My husband and I were on a pottery wheelthrowing date night. Gift from our son The class was fun because we made it so. Our teacher could have a better sense of humour.
  • 3/5 from Scott Rouse, attended Jul 2025: We had a mixed experience. My wife loved it, but I didn't enjoy it. I couldn't hear the soft-spoken tutor, and despite me telling him, his voice didn't change. Rather than letting you do it, he frequently interrupted and "fixed it" for you. When my bowl flopped a second time, the tutor was visibly reluctant to give me more clay, so I made do with the tiny salvageable piece I had and made a small candle holder. Then when it came time to remove it from the table, he was unable to cut the base and butchered it, and it was all downhill from there for my piece. My wife managed to make a nice little bowl however.
  • 5/5 from Scott Murray, attended Jun 2025: Tom was amazing
  • 5/5 from Carol Wetherall, attended Jun 2025: Nicole was great and explained everything So much fun Will definitely recommend it to friends
  • 5/5 from Jack Patterson, attended Jun 2025: Very fun class. The level of difficulty was perfect for beginners.
