Recent reviews of Cold Working Glass Art Workshop
- 5/5 from Gayle Ferrier, attended Mar 2026: Enjoyed learning how to use all the cold working machinery that Silvy had setup in her studio. Silvy enjoys sharing her experience with her students.
- 4/5 from Dave Landmark, attended Jul 2025: I really enjoyed the opportunity to learn about and use equipment that I wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to use. The versatility of sand blasting was an eye opener. The use of each machine was clearly demonstrated by Silvana, before the students were given an opportunity. Virtually One-on-one tuition meant help was always readily available (only two students). The only downside was the length of the initial instruction video, but my understanding was that had been changed from the previous video that Silvana normally uses and won’t be used again. Thank you Silvana for an instructive and interesting session. I come away with full confidence to use similar equipment on my own.
- 5/5 from Kim Cottrell, attended Mar 2025: Good hands on workshop, very useful
Your teacher
Although my journey with glass started with lead lighting 30 years ago, I learned to make fused glass in 2009. Without boundaries, I found it the perfect medium to explore and develop my creative skills. Glass is a fascinating medium, and I am constantly learning, experimenting and developing new methods to create new pieces that reflect my story and environment. Building my new studio in the hills has allowed me to share my passion for glass with others through a series of courses and workshops.
