What you'll do

Book a creative workshop where you’ll paint and finish your very own handmade nursery night light.

In this 1.5 to 2-hour session, you’ll personalise a beautifully crafted wooden design and learn the basics of soldering to connect a soft LED light - perfect for a child’s room or as a thoughtful gift.

You’ll have access to our Paint Bar to bring your design to life with colours, and the Letter Station, where you can add wooden letters to personalise your piece with a name or sweet word.

Most of the technical work is prepared in advance, so you can focus on the fun part: painting, assembling, and adding your personal touch.

Hey, I’m Jodie - the creative heart behind Etch and Cut Studio!

I have a big love for creating magical things out of wood and light.

Before launching Etch and Cut Studio, I co-founded a design brand called Eternel Home Decor, where I craft sculptural wooden lamps for interiors. So working with wood and light has always been part of my world - but everything shifted when my best friend was expecting her first baby. She asked me to design a sweet wall light for her nursery, and that moment lit a new spark.

I imagined a space just for that kind of magic - where creativity feels light, joyful, and made for little ones. That’s how Etch and Cut Studio was born.

Now, I’m opening up the studio through workshops, where you’ll be able to paint, personalize, and even solder the light behind your piece. Don’t worry; I’ll guide you step by step, even if you’ve never held a paintbrush or soldering iron before!
