Japanese Language & Culture with Yoshimi – Fun, Practical, and Engaging!

こんにちは！I’m Yoshimi – a qualified Japanese teacher.

Since 2010, I’ve been helping students of all ages and backgrounds learn Japanese through private tutoring, group classes, and hands-on cultural experiences like calligraphy, origami, and cooking.

I currently offer Basic Japanese group lessons, designed to build your confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Whether you're learning for travel, school, work, or just for fun, my goal is simple: to help you fall in love with the Japanese language and culture. I bring lessons to life with practical activities, real-world examples, and a warm, supportive atmosphere.

Originally from Okayama—the sister state of South Australia—I’ve also lived in Kyoto and Tokyo. I love traveling (especially to Japan!) and connecting with students from around the world, both in person and online.
