What you'll do
Searching for creative kids activities? Ignite your child's creativity in this stimulating and engaging eight week drawing course for kids from 7+ years of age! This class is perfect for beginners and young budding artists.This drawing course is designed for all levels of kids from beginners to advanced from the age of seven wanting to learn or improve the fundamental techniques of figure, nature and object drawing. This includes step-by-step drawing of illustrations to build up confidence in their drawing skills. Each session in this course will be about cultivating skills, as well as exploring materials such as graphite, chalks, pastels, inks, acrylic and watercolour on paper.Kids will learn a series of steps and principles that will allow them to grow as young artists harnessing their fine and gross motor skills while improving concentration and developing their creativity, imagination and social skills.The class size has a maximum of 10 Students.Students who disrupt the teaching of the class will be asked to leave. Classes run for eight weeks, one lesson per week on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 4pm till 6pm If you skip a class you are welcome to make this class up on one of the other classes during the eight weeks. Please note that class will be skipped and made up later should the class fall over a public holiday/long weekend. This course will be hosted by artist Karin Duarte who hopes to pass on her knowledge and enthusiasm to encourage each student to be creative always.Please note: All children are required to be signed in and out by the parent or authorised representative. The teacher will supervise until pick up.
