Hi, I'm Erica – welcome to my Crafty Kitchen!

I've been creating for as long as I can remember. I learnt to crochet at the age of eight and discovered my love of baking and cooking as a teenager. Now, nearly five decades later, I'm still just as passionate about experimenting, learning, and bringing new ideas to life. Entirely self-taught, I've spent years refining my skills through trial and error, endless note-taking, and a healthy dose of curiosity. Whether I'm creating realistic crochet play food, designing amigurumi, or crafting edible illusions, I love finding ways to transform ordinary materials into something unexpected.

Teaching allows me to share that passion with others. I believe creativity should be fun, accessible, and never intimidating. My classes are relaxed, beginner-friendly, and focused on helping people build confidence while creating something they're proud of. There's nothing I enjoy more than seeing the delight and surprise on people's faces when they realise what they've created—or when they discover that things aren't always quite what they seem!
