Why not try out La Donna's perfume-making workshop and open yourself to a whole new world of scents!Enjoy some time with colleagues at this hands-on, sensory experience or spend some time bonding with friends and loved ones.In this two-hour workshop, you will be guided through the basic process of creating your own scent by perfume creator and entrepreneur, Sarah Ciara. You will learn the importance of drawing on your senses, your intuition and mindfulness techniques to be able to create the perfect perfume for you!Starting with an overview of the history of perfumery, you will then learn about the various uses of fragrances and the psychological and emotional health benefits of working with essential oils. You'll then get to unleash your creativity and get hands-on with some raw perfume materials, including botanicals, natural essential oils and pure high-quality carrier oils!Workshop outline:
- Welcoming and mindfulness intention setting exercise
- Theoretical knowledge
- Sensory introduction to botanicals, oils and tools
- Demonstration of perfume-making process

The workshop itself was amazing, Sarah our teacher was both professional and welcoming. She created a space where everyone felt comfortable and relaxed. Even though we had to start later than initially planned due to issues in our end, Sarah was still able to create a wonderful hands on experience. We were taught not only how to create our own perfumes blends but also the history behind scents/perfumes how to mix certain oils together to create specific scents and a deeper dive into the meaning behind the oils and their purposes. Before the workshop, I was able to communicate easily with Sarah about plans and changes to the workshop and she was happy to accommodate and help us as best she could with all the details The other guests and especially the bride really enjoyed their time at the workshop, and everyone went home with their own customised blend.
