Hi, I’m Demelza.

Let me tell you a little about me.

I’m a qualified art teacher with a Masters in Art Education from Monash University.

What I learnt in my studies is that I’m passionate about community art education. I love seeing people connect, laugh and be present in the moment whilst creating.

Over the last year I have developed EcoArt workshops and retreats where the focus is on using NATURE as ‘inspiration for artwork and as art material’. My aim is always to develop classes so that anyone with any ability can join in with, overcoming their moans of “I’m not artistic” and surprising themselves.

My original Degree was in Contemporary Art from Edith Cowan before moving overseas to London and Bangkok and teaching for many years. I am an educator and tour guide annually at Sculpturebythesea and was cofounder of ARTPOD in Mosman Park.

I love sharing what I have learnt from all of my studies, travels and own art practice with people building an ever growing ‘EcoArt Community’.
