In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to print your own hand cut stencil designs onto lengths of fabric... perfect for turning into clothing, table runners, cushions, pillowcases and more. It’s a fun and creative way to explore the surprisingly satisfying (and slightly mathematical!) art of repeat textile printing.Never screen printed before? No problem at all. This beginner-friendly class will guide you through the entire process step-by-step. You’ll learn everything from preparing your design, setting up the print table and creating seamless repeat prints like a pro.You’ll also discover how to properly cure and care for your fabric prints so they stay vibrant and long-lasting at home.By the end of the workshop, you’ll head home with your own hand-printed fabric meterage (lengths of approx. 2m x 0.4m), loads of new skills, and the confidence to keep printing independently. You’ll also receive handy reference notes so you can revisit the techniques at home.Suitable for ages 14+, this class is perfect for creative beginners, crafty friends, or even a fun parent-and-teen day out.The studio is tucked inside a buzzing creative warehouse in Marrickville, Sydney — just a short stroll from Sydenham Station.
