You can take this knowledge back home and create beautiful fresh flower arrangements for any special occasion. For those with a little more experience, or wanting a deeper dive into learning about flowers and their meanings, you can opt for an intermediate Ikebana class, where Japanese flower arranging is taught as a mindful art form. If you're after something more general, we also have plenty of beginner-friendly courses in floristry around the city. Whatever you choose, you will be guided step-by-step through the process by a passionate local florist!
Floristry classes are also one of the unique experiences Melbourne residents are loving. If you’re looking for fun things to do in Melbourne for your group of girlfriends, a hens party or a bridal shower gift, flower crown classes are perfect. These floral workshops are even special things to do in Melbourne with kids if you’re looking for fun ideas for Christmas, birthday gifts or unique family bonding activities. In floristry courses, you’ll learn how to use florist supplies to create a perfect composition. Under the guidance of an experienced florist, you’ll learn how to harness balance and colour schemes to create gorgeous arrangements. At the end of the class, you can take home your beautiful flower arrangements and keep practising on your own.
