Step into a magical world of creativity with a Live For Art's fluid art class in Melbourne, where you'll discover the secrets of crafting your own stunning artwork to adorn your walls!
Get ready to be entranced by the mesmerising 3D cells that seem to magically emerge in your painting. In the intriguing 'Pearl Pour' technique, the addition of satin enamel paint to the bottom layer creates cells that peek through the colours layered above, resulting in a uniquely beautiful effect that is sure to captivate you.
This class will cover:
  • How to prepare your canvas
  • How to mix paints and paint mediums suitable for this technique
  • Which recipes are good for this technique and what difference this makes
  • How to choose colours and layer your paints on the canvas
  • How to create beautiful cells and lacing in your art with no oil
After experimenting and honing your skills on a smaller canvas, you'll unleash your creativity on a 12 x 16 inch (30 x 40 cm) gallery-wrapped canvas, or opt for an upgrade to a larger 16 x 20 inch (40 x 50 cm) canvas for an even grander masterpiece. You can choose this option at checkout. Your creations will be ready for collection after three days of drying time.
If you're looking for fun and relaxing things to do in Melbourne, why not join this fluid art workshop and unwind with like-minded creatives as you learn new skills.
