5/5 from Stefopoulos Anna, attended May 2026: The tour was at a relaxed pace and very informative. We got to enjoy a taste of a number of treats from various vendors and a cup of coffee at the end. Our host was very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
3/5 from Jill Palmer, attended Nov 2025: On arrival, the guide didn't have us down to join the tour..... so I had to show email proof. The guide was very good and knowledgeable and the length of time was great What let the tour down was the value for money. We didn't seem to get much for what we paid
5/5 from Deb Holland, attended Jun 2025: Broni was our guide and she was amazing with her knowledge, friendly personality and the pace in which we travelled around the market. The tastings kept coming and highlighted the unique quality of our Adelaide Central Market. A great gift idea. Many thanks Broni
5/5 from Neale Burton, attended May 2025: Our guide Stephanie was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the Adelaide Central Markets. We had a thoroughly enjoyable 2 hours learning about the history and the multicultural representation of the stall owners. An added bonus were the many samples provided during the tour, culminating with a nice coffee at the end. Thoroughly recommended!
5/5 from Leng Lee, attended Feb 2025: Although I've lived in Adelaide for more than 20yrs, this tour has open my eyes to all the wonderful food that I can obtain within Central Market. Fantastic tour by Stephanie who gave us a wealth of knowledge on the different cultural groups of people who call Adelaide home and share with us their delicious food.
5/5 from Heidi Babatsikos, attended Jan 2025: Our tour guide, Tony was very knowledgeable and easy going. As we were previous Adelaide residents we still learned a lot and have found our new favourite stalls. There was a huge variety of food to taste.
5/5 from Sally Ovens, attended Nov 2024: Tony was a great guide, the tour was very informative and the tastings were very tasty. Learnt about the history of the markets and have some inspiration for future visits.
4/5 from Timothy Corrigan, attended Nov 2024: Nice to hear the history of the Adelaide Central Market and the stall owners. Our small group of 4 led by Tony made it a lovely tour.
5/5 from Karen Dixon, attended Sep 2024: Enjoyed getting to know the Adelaide Central Markets better through our host, Broni’s great guidance and information and sampling different foods. It will help us as Sth Australians to diversify our shopping experience when we return to the markets. Thank you for creating an enjoyable experience.
At Food Tours Australia we will introduce and connect you with local producers, offering food and wine experiences, highlighting products and demonstrating the importance of local foods to the community and the economy. We offer our range of food tourism and educational activities in city centre hubs for people interested in learning about high-quality foods produced locally in Australia and the people behind the products.
