This session is designed to be a fun, social experience that teaches some basic guidelines for doing improvised comedy. The teacher will provide instructions and some light feedback to help everyone enjoy the class, however more personalised notes are unlikely. For those looking to develop deeper knowledge and skills in improv, we encourage taking an 8 week public course, or a private corporate workshop
Q: Public speaking and being on stage makes be extremely anxious. Is this for me?
We have a lot of experience teaching individuals who have never set foot on a stage, and get nervous in front of crowds. We want to make sure you have a good time, and assume that everyone is at least a little nervous, so we'll aim to create a supportive environment and make everyone as safe as possible. We very often have folks tell us that it was way more fun and comfortable than they expected! That said, if it sounds overwhelming, or you're feeling unsure, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, or requests.
Q: Is your venue wheelchair accessible?
The Improv Conspiracy venue unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible, however Theory Bar is. If you would like to enquire about a wheelchair accessible workshop and/or show, please get in contact and we will be happy to explore opportunities.

- You'll start with a short explanation and welcome, followed by some gentle warm-ups to loosen up and break the ice, and finish with some scene work on stage.
- No experience required; in fact, we assume everyone coming to this class has never done improv before and teach from the ground up, so you're in safe hands!
- The show is inspired by audience interviews about their workplace – tell us about your experiences and our performers create an hour of comedy based on them.

While performing is one part of the picture, there are many reasons to take an improv class.
