The Improv Conspiracy is Melbourne's home of improv and sketch comedy. We believe that improv is for everyone, not just established actors and comedians. While performing is one part of the picture, there are many reasons to take an improv class. It encourages creativity and collaboration, improves teamwork skills, and most of all, it's fun!Our Meyers Place theatre in the Melbourne CBD puts on live comedy shows every Thursday through Sunday night, all year round. Our Chicago-style workshops program is the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere, offering courses for complete beginners, community-oriented hobbyists and experienced individuals looking for more serious performance outcomes. Since its inception in 2012, we have hit some pretty incredible milestones:
- Over 840 8-week terms of classes
- Ran more than 50 corporate workshops
- Held more the 6000 shows in our theatre
- The Upright Citizens Brigade (New York City, Los Angeles)
