Create botanical prints in one exercise, then explore masks and stencils in another — discovering how transparent and opaque layers build depth and interest.This class is ideal if you love both organic forms and modern abstract design — and want to learn the foundations with confidence.You’ll take home a collection of unique A4 patterned papers (printed from an 8 x 10 Gelli plate), ready to frame or use in card making, collage, art journaling, or other creative projects.This class will cover:

• Gelli printing basics including how to use the brayer (roller) and care of the Gelli plate
• How to apply paints and choose colours
• How to layer with leaves and botanicals
• How to use stencils and masks for contrast
• How to build depth with simple layers and understand opaque vs transparent layers
