Join this fun and relaxing 5-week course and discover the magic of glass bead making using soft Italian Moretti glass.
In this foundational workshop, you’ll learn how to safely use a torch to melt glass and shape it into beautiful, colourful beads. Each week builds on your skills with opportunities to try your hand at glass beads, small glass sculptures, swizzle sticks, and even a little glass blowing if you're curious!

Mai Oshima, born in Japan and now living in Sydney, Australia, has been a glass maker and designer since 2013. Specialising in glass jewellery inspired by the Australian coast, especially the Northern Beaches, she blends her passion for surfing with her art. Mai completed her bachelor’s degree in fine arts in Glass in Japan and has more than 20 years of experience in glass. Her experience as a glass instructor in Japan has made her passionate about teaching and sharing her craft.
