Get ready to suds up and explore the art of soap making in this special hands-on workshop, perfect for celebrating Mum! Dive into the chemistry and history of soap, and gain a deeper understanding of what makes it so special. We’ll introduce you to essential soap-making terms and their meanings, as well as teach you about soap-making safety and how to reduce hazards.

Create a heartfelt gift for Mum (or yourself!), or bring her along for some sweet quality time where you’ll craft your very own cold process Castile (pure olive oil) soap, ideal for sensitive skin, facial cleansing, body wash, shaving, and household cleaning. We’ll show you pouring techniques, including how to create a beautiful swirl pattern with natural colourants, and guide you through scenting your soaps using luxurious essential oils.

You’ll also learn clever formulating tricks to reduce soap scum and build a fluffier lather, ensuring your creations are as practical as they are beautiful. Finally, we’ll cover curing and storage, so you can get the most out of your handmade soaps.

Join us for a bubbly, hands-on experience that’s perfect for Mother’s Day, and leave with a unique gift that shows your love and creativity!

Treat Mum to something truly special this Mother’s Day!

Please note: Your soaps will need to cure for one week at our venue before they are ready for collection. Additionally, you’ll need to wait at least 4 weeks to use what you make in class (as with all cold process soap), but it will be worth the wait when you use that first slice!

*Please note: This class requires at least 5 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don’t get this number of students, we’ll cancel the class and fully refund you, and inform you via email. Please keep an eye on your inbox a few days prior to the class.
