Gourmet Lunch Tour and Tasting

Tour Adelaide Central Market and sit down to a gourmet lunch

3 hours Location Adelaide Experience size 1 to 40 guests   $185 (Afterpay available)

Looking for unique culinary experiences? Tour the heart of South Australian local food and produce at Adelaide Central Market before settling in for a delicious lunch.
This tour has been designed for foodies, complete with tastings of a delicious selection of foods and talks with artisan food producers, suppliers and stallholders, whose families have traded at the Market for generations.
Food lovers will get an insider look into how what we eat is moved from product to plate, and get to see the people and the passions behind quality, local food.
At the end of the tour, sit down for a delicious lunch, or if you are too full after all your amazing tour tastings, we can arrange a gourmet Italian panini picnic lunch to take away - your choice, no need to make your mind up until the day.
Please note: Public sessions require a minimum of two people to run. In the event the tour does not get enough bookings, it will be rescheduled/cancelled and you will be notified beforehand.

Please note: Public dates for this experience require at least 2 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the session; if that happens, we'll inform you and let you choose between a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the experience.

  • 4/5 from Robyn Payne, attended Apr 2026: After some confusion about time and meeting place (not by us!), numerous messages, our tour host found us and we had a great tour. Learned a lot. Great stories and background info. Stephanie was just fabulous. 10/10 for her! Lunch was ok but hardly gourmet..

  • 5/5 from Rosemarie Skillen, attended Apr 2024: Well our tour of the Central Markets was a gift from our 3 adult children and their families, it was a Xmas gift, I can honestly say, and have told them all it really was a fantastic gift and we would certainly recommend it to others to do. Our host Maryanne was truly a gem and was very polite and full of all the information and answered questions for our little group, the tour and tastings was fantastic and we actually went back afterwards and purchased some goodies to take home with us. We both agreed it was very good value for the money and made sure to tell our family and friends about it. I really don't know how else you could improve on what your workers already do so well. Again a big thank you to Maryanne.
