Do we need any artistic experience?
Not at all! Our activities are designed for everyone, regardless of creative experience. The focus is on having fun, connecting and enjoying the process rather than creating perfect artwork.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Absolutely! The Joyful Creative cannot provide catering however you're welcome to organise your own food and refreshments for the celebration. Tea and coffee facilities are available at the studio. We also have champagne flutes for the bubbly!
Can we decorate the studio?
You're welcome to bring some decorations to personalise the space. Please discuss your plans with us beforehand so we can make sure everything is suitable for the studio.
Can we arrive early to set up?
The studio will be open 30 minutes prior to the start time if you would like to decorate or arrange refreshments before your guests arrive.
Is the studio wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, the studio is located upstairs and is not wheelchair accessible. Please contact us to discuss any other accessibility needs.
What are your minimum and maximum numbers?
We can accommodate groups of 10 to 16 people.

I’m a creative workshop facilitator and the founder of The Joyful Creative, a studio dedicated to nurturing creativity as an everyday wellbeing practice.For many years I’ve taught textile crafts, mixed media and mindful creativity to children, adults and people with additional needs. I love creating welcoming, inclusive workshops where everyone feels comfortable to explore and make, regardless of their experience level.My teaching style focuses on the joy of the creative process rather than the pressure of perfect outcomes.
