Tucked away in the beautiful Perth Hills, Hills Creatives is more than just a class—it’s a welcoming, hands-on community where creativity blossoms, laughter flows freely, and connections are made over cups of tea, colorful skeins of yarn, and vibrant slabs of polymer clay. Whether you're looping yarn into soft stitches or shaping intricate patterns from clay, there’s something magical about slowing down and making with your hands. We’re two women—two artisans—who found friendship through a shared love of making, learning, and teaching.What began as casual chats about our latest projects turned into a dream: to create a space (wherever we are!) for others to slow down, explore their creative side, and discover the joy of making something with their own hands.

While we don’t have a permanent studio, we plan to host our classes in a charming local historic hall, bringing a cozy, down-to-earth atmosphere to every workshop. And our creative community goes beyond the classroom—we’re growing a space online too, where inspiration, encouragement and connection continue between in-person sessions.

At Hills Creatives, we offer classes in crochet and polymer clay, with more to come as our little community grows. Whether you’re a total beginner or someone who’s dabbled before, our workshops are all about encouragement, curiosity, and playfulness. We believe creativity is for everyone—not just the “artsy”types or the perfectionists. Here, there’s no pressure to get it right—only an invitation to try something new and have fun doing it.

Our mantra is simple: Create. Laugh. Connect.

Because when you’re creating, you’re not just making something with your hands—you’re making space for joy, expression, and community.
