Learn how to make empanadas, the most iconic pie of South America in this live cooking class! Streamed directly from Argentina you'll feel as though you've landed yourself right in the heart of South America. Connect with different cultures and learn new skills, all from the comfort of your own home!

In this online cooking class, you will make traditional empanada dough from scratch and prepare two different fillings for the homemade empanadas.

The two empanadas fillings include:

  • Beef filling, as prepared in Buenos Aires
  • Cheese-based vegetarian or seasonal vegan filling

You will also learn how to make Llauja, a spicy sauce eaten with the empanadas. You will be able to close your eyes and easily imagine yourself sitting in a Bodegon (local bar) surrounded by the porteño (people from Buenos Aries) spirit. Enjoy this street food staple from Latin America and pair your food with some Malbec wine and Argentinian music to give yourself an immersive experience.

This class will leave you feeling connected with new cultures and ready to embrace and try out new cuisines too!

This is a beginner-friendly class where you will get an authentic recipe and all the tips you need to master your empanadas.
