  • 5/5 from Des D, attended Sep 2026: Puja was great and we really loved learning more about spices, the order of cooking, how to roll and make the flat breads and appreciated the different cooking methods for different stove tops!
  • 5/5 from Joshua Diversi, attended Aug 2026: Puja is a wonderful chef and teacher who will show you how to make three kinds of bread: roti, paratha and stuffed paratha. Everything is very well-structured, prepared, and professional so you'll definitely learn comprehensively as you follow along. Beyond that, she's a lovely person and the nice conversation, good bread and lessons you'll learn make this a great way to spend half a day. Fully recommend to anyone interested in learning more about Indian cooking and how to make its amazing bread dishes.
  • 5/5 from Kala Liu, attended Aug 2026: Flatbread making was amazing - this was me and my partner's first cooking class of any type. We made three types: roti, paratha, and stuffed paratha. After making them, Puja (the teacher) made spiced yoghurt to eat them with, then we took the rest home. Puja not only gave us printed recipes, but also explained the main differences in food across various regions in India (spice use, rice vs flatbread). She let us experience the effects of various spices and types of oils, and we had a bit of freedom in the final flatbread. It was clear that she was knowledgeable about cooking. My partner and I unfortunately went over time by an hour without realising; Puja was extremely hospitable until the end and we did not feel rushed.
  • 5/5 from Geoff McKnight, attended Jul 2026: Great course, Puja was great fun and very patient! Certainly recommend it to anyone with an interest in Indian cooking, whether it's for yourself or aa a gift.
  • 5/5 from Fiona McKerral, attended Jun 2026: Was given the flatbread-making class for my birthday and had a great lesson today. Learned to make different breads and also got lots of cooking tips. • 5/5 from Danielle Way, attended May 2026: My husband bought me the class as a gift, and it was perfect. Puja is a warm, friendly and skilled teacher who took me through making a range of different (and delicious!) flatbreads. I had a fabulous time and highly recommend her class for anyone wanting to learn how to make authentic Indian food. She goes the extra mile, and invited my husband and child in for a tasting too (which my daughter devoured with delight), even though the class was over. I'll be back for a curry class soon!
  • 5/5 from Vanita Morrish, attended May 2026: Puja is an amazing host and teacher, my partner and I attended her class today and both were impressed with the amount of care she put into explaining the procees of making the flat breads from start to finish Puja explained how and when to use the different spices and brought a new love of cooking to us both we will definently be making these on rotation in our house due to how easy Puja made them for us to learn and make

  • 5/5 from Lyn Farrand, attended Nov 2025: This is my second class with Puja. Puja is well prepared, extremely flexible and generous with her knowledge and help. Nothing is too much trouble for this delightful young woman. Puja is an excellent cook and the food she prepares is absolutely delicious. I have learnt a great deal about the use of Indian spices but, it may take a little practice before I can produce Indian flat breads with her skill and confidence. Puja welcomes you into her home with great warmth. I highly recommend her courses.
