The Bower’s Make Your Own Toolbox course will provide you with the skills and foundations to undertake small DIY woodwork projects by guiding you through the process of creating your own multi-function toolbox using reclaimed and repurposed materials.

Over six weeks, learn about working with hand and power tools, timber selection, measuring and planning for projects and different finishing techniques for timber.

This course focuses on different aspects each week, allowing you to develop your skills more thoroughly.

This course will take place over six weekly 3-hour sessions.


Knowledge required
Beginner-friendly.
 
What you'll get
A finished toolbox and an understanding of workshop terminology and techniques that will allow you to approach your own projects with confidence.
 
What to bring
  • Please bring along the following PPE:
  • Facemask
  • Safety goggles/glasses
  • Earmuffs or earplugs
Session repeats

This class series runs over 6 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.

This venue is a short walk from Redfern station (400m).
