What you'll do
Join artisan jeweller Ren and learn the basic techniques of enamelling in this one-day intensive workshop in Perth.
Enamelling in jewellery is an ancient technique, where glass paste or powder is applied to the metal. Once heated to a high temperature, it is fused to the metal, which is a wonderful way to add gloss and a variety of colours to the jewellery.
Your teacher will show you behind the scenes of the enamelling process and different techniques such as sifting, painting and sgraffito.
Each class is held in a small, intimate space, which is perfect for the teacher to go around and help you personally.
With all tools and materials provided, all you have to do is bring yourself and some enclosed shoes!
Perfect for unique Perth activities with your friends or cute date ideas, come along for some creativity, fun and jewellery making!
