About your teacher, Hikari Noguchi:
Hikari’s journey with Ikebana began 19 years ago in Japan, where she deeply studied the philosophy and techniques of the Ikenobo school. Her expertise is recognised at the highest level, having won the Grand Prix at the Internet Ikebana Exhibition 2019 and twice receiving the Tachibana Prize at the Ikenobo Central Institute of Ikebana in Kyoto.
Beyond technical skill, Hikari spent six years at the Michelin-starred "Sushi Matsumoto" in Kyoto, where she refined her sense of spatial design through seasonal floral arrangements. Now based in Melbourne, she hosts immersive workshops that go beyond flower arranging—sharing the history, philosophy, and "quiet moments" of Ikebana. Her mission is to help people find brilliance and mindfulness through the harmony of nature and space.
