What a great experience inside Chef Jacqui's beautiful home!
She brought France on our plates unselfishly sharing all the tips and secrets of French cuisine. We learnt how to cook scallops with saffron butter, crispy duck breast with fig glaze, cauliflower & apple puree, potato fondant & string beans, and for the dessert we made crepes Suzette with vanilla ice cream! What a feast, what a treat!

Chef Jacquie and the whole experience was excellent!
We cooked great food, Chef was patient and explained everything really well.
We learned lots and had an awesome meal, cooked by us! A wonderful thing to do with friends and family.

Loved the class, very hands on and learnt new cooking techniques I would never attempt at home. Very proud I learnt how to confidently bone a quail. And Sophie (the dog) was an added extra bonus of cuteness.

Thanksgiving! This was an absolutely inspired and inspiring gift! Chef Jacquie immediately put us at ease with her warm welcome into her home, and her friendly warm and cheerful manner. This whole easy, relaxed and informative manner carried through into a wonderful teaching style filled with the much anticipated techniques and delicious food with a hands on participation.
A real pleasant surprise were the little jewels of tips and organisational kitchen embellishments! Suggestions on securing chopping, boards, preserving herbs, pre-planning work areas and flows, sourcing of superior products and kitchen tools.
The entire five hours was a real treat.
My partner and I left wonderfully enthused and lookig forward to employ new skills in our own kitchen.
As the menu changes with the seasons reflecting fresh premium produce we can't wait to return!

We had a delightful time with Jacqui, thoroughly enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the French cooking class. Not only did we have fun, but we also acquired valuable knowledge. Jacqui taught us the secrets behind crafting an authentic Hollandaise sauce and perfectly poached eggs. Furthermore, she emphasized the significance of selecting seasonal ingredients to complement the time of year. The highlight of the class was undoubtedly the exquisite lamb dish with romesco sauce, which left us absolutely delighted. Our heartfelt thanks go to Jacqui for this wonderful experience!

My mum and I were made welcomed as we enter the Chef's house. We were greeted with a friendly smile and were informed of the program for the day. The chef made sure that everyone got a chance to participate in making the food, and she would also ensure that she passed on any helpful cooking hints as we progressed throughout the day. If we had any questions, she was happy to answer them as well as breaking down the information so that it was easy to understand. The meal was amazing as well as the company.

Went to this cooking class with my Dad as a birthday present . We had a fantastic day with Jacqui in her beautiful home kitchen in Sorrento. Class was very interactive and informative, in a fun relaxed setting. Intimate group size and the social aspect of learning and dining with others adds positively to the experience. Food was divine - wish I could have taken more of the rhubarb brûlée home! Good investment to level up your cooking skills and make some fond memories with loved ones. Thank you Jacqui

I thought Jacqui was very cheerful and full of fun. Leaning how to bone a Quail I thought was excellent.
I was some what disappointed that our mains was steak and boiled potatoes smashed then roasted.
Carmel Macadamia Nut tart. Would have been good to have made our own pastry. But maybe time did not allow this.
Overall it was a fun day, and meeting other people that are interested in cooking.

She is open and generous with all of her knowledge. It was a beautiful day cooking with her. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

Jacqui's kitchen is well organised and overall a lovely welcoming home that encourages organic conversation to flow effortlessly. Jacqui takes extra care to reach out in advance to ensure the menu is suitable for everyone participating, allergies, vegan and vegetarian are all welcome.

We had seafood in our menu which we aren't confident with, so we learnt a lot including knife sharpening, knife skills and generally best ways to work in kitchen.

We covered starter, mains and dessert and it was a full day of learning to cook and eating while talking about food and travels. There are little tips and tricks about chopping efficiently that I will surely keep in mind when working in my own kitchen.

Highly recommended this to learn some basics of cooking, quality ingredients to buy for home cooking and know about some French classics. Jacqui is a wonderful teacher.

Overall a fantastic experience which I would thoroughly recommend.

Jacqui has a beautiful home which was the perfect venue for the occasion. As well as being a remarkable chef and excellent teacher, she is warm, welcoming and clearly loves sharing her expertise.

The ingredients were of the highest quality and all dishes prepared were absolutely delicious.

This course is very hands on, unlike some courses where you just watch the chef prepare the food. There were so many useful tips from how to mince garlic to the importance of pre heating pots. I loved it.

Chef Jacqui was lovely and inviting. She lives in a beautiful home with a large balcony looking out to the moonah links golf course. From sharpening knifes to peeling the muscle tendon off each scallop (the muscle makes it tighten up and less tasty) to making a persillade sauce in a mortar and pestle to go with the saltbush lamb, gas torching the creme brûlée. It ran for over 5hours and Chef Jacqui was kind enough to spend all that time sharing her tips and tricks of the trade with us.

Jacqui was absolutely wonderful ! She made us feel very welcome in her beautiful home. We foraged for herbs and edible flowers in her garden and as an experienced chef Jacqui gave us many great tips for food preparation techniques and cooking successful French recipes. Of course we were also able to eat the finished dishes around a beautiful dining room table, while Jacqui entertained us with stories of her days as a chef. It was a delightful experience which I would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you Jacqui, you were brilliant.

Beautiful home but Very far to drive and enjoy full experience of enjoying wine. Better to be in city area where easier to Uber. It was a fun day but was more like a basic cooking class instead of learning the techniques French cooking.

We had a lovely and fun afternoon learning to cook French food with chef Jacqui! Her home was delightful and she is extremely talented and very knowledgeable. Another bonus was that all the participants were also very nice.

The French cooking class held by chef Jacqui’s was fantastic. The reason I say this is that it was held in her own family home kitchen, by doing this it show’s us ordinary cooks can produce a restaurant quality meal in or own home. She is also very good at explaining the way we go about preparing, cooking and platting up food. Job well done, would not hesitate going again.

Was a fantastic day with Chef Jacquie!

Relaxed environment , delicious food, some great learnings as well from knife sharpening to how to ensure your duck breast pectoral muscles are removed prior to cold pan cooking!

Loved the special greeter when we arrived as well, great job all concerned highly recommended.
