During this hands-on class, you'll be guided by Chef Jacqui, who is passionate about showing people how to cook the food she loves, enjoy the process and not panic in the kitchen.

Come along to Chef Jacqui's beautiful home in Fingal on the Mornington Peninsula to cook a delicious three-course French meal and enjoy your tasty creations at her magnificent table overlooking stunning panoramic views of Moonah Links golf course.

You'll be greeted with canapes and light refreshments upon arrival so you're ready to tackle our wonderful French menu on a full stomach.

Using seasonal, sustainable and fresh ingredients is a must in Jacqui's kitchen, which her kitchen garden and local suppliers and producers play a huge role in. This philosophy will rub off on you in this class.

We have a few precious things in life the give us pleasure and enjoyment and cooking and eating food does just that, especially when we get to share those moments with the people we love.

Suitable for

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, birthday, hens party or bucks party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 12 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.

This would also be a unique gift for her, gift for mum or anniversary gift.

Your teacher

Chef Jacqui Selleck offers a unique interactive cooking and dining experience in her beautiful home overlooking magnificent golf course views in Fingal on the Mornington Peninsula. This very talented chef has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is very adept at passing it on to the cooking students.

The menu is an excellent three-course dinner party menu that also begins with Jacqui’s favourite canapés. You will learn tips and tricks of food prep and presentation and be instructed in knife skills and French cooking techniques to bring about the best result in your beautiful produce.

Jacqui’s passion for cooking shines through as she shares her recipes and stories from working in professional kitchens around the globe and on home turf in some of the best fine dining restaurants.

The French cooking class held by chef Jacqui’s was fantastic. The reason I say this is that it was held in her own family home kitchen, by doing this it show’s us ordinary cooks can produce a restaurant quality meal in or own home. She is also very good at explaining the way we go about preparing, cooking and platting up food. Job well done, would not hesitate going again.

Relaxed environment , delicious food, some great learnings as well from knife sharpening to how to ensure your duck breast pectoral muscles are removed prior to cold pan cooking!
