Want to take your culinary skills and tastes to the next level, then a day of cooking and eating with me, is an unforgettable experience.
I am Chef Jacqui and I teach people to cook the food I love to cook, to enjoy the process and to not panic in the kitchen.
My experience as a chef working in some of the best professional kitchens and under some of Melbourne, Europe and Americas most talented, passionate and humble chefs has made me the chef I am and allows me to help you become a better and more confident cook.
The food I love to cook is French cuisine with a modern influence, elegant Italian and Greek cookery and modern Australian cuisine introducing native ingredients.
Using seasonal, sustainable and fresh ingredients is a must in my kitchen, which my kitchen garden and local suppliers and producers play a huge role in. This philosophy will rub off on you in our class.
We have a few precious things in life the give us pleasure and enjoyment and cooking and eating food does just that, especially when we get to share those moments with the people we love.
So I invite you into my beautiful home in Fingal on the Mornington Peninsula to cook a 3 course meal with me in my well appointed kitchen, then to enjoy a 3 course meal with me at my magnificent table overlooking stunning panoramic views of Moonah Links golf course.
So book your places for an amazing day of fun, food, wine and laughter and learn some stuff too.

Suitable for

This class is a great indoor activity idea for individuals and couples as well as for a birthday, hens party, team building activity, bucks party or Christmas party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 12 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.

This would also be a unique gift for her, gift for mum, anniversary gift or Xmas gift.

Jacqui Selleck has had both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and adheres to COVID-19 government guidelines. They won't run this class if they've had flu symptoms in the last 14 days.

Chef Jacqui Selleck offers a unique interactive cooking and dining experience in her beautiful home overlooking magnificent golf course views in Fingal on the Mornington Peninsula. This very talented chef has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is very adept at passing it on to the cooking students.

The menu is an excellent three-course dinner party menu that also begins with Jacqui’s favourite canapés. You will learn tips and tricks of food prep and presentation and be instructed in knife skills and French cooking techniques to bring about the best result in your beautiful produce.

Jacqui’s passion for cooking shines through as she shares her recipes and stories from working in professional kitchens around the globe and on home turf in some of the best fine dining restaurants.

Such a fun day and we learnt so much! As well as ate the most delicious food and had a great laugh.
Would highly recommend for a group of girlfriends that want change it up from just having a restaurant dinner to celebrate a birthday .
