Knowledge required
No previous forging or knife-making knowledge required. Ages 18+.
What to bring
Note about safety - Wear a cotton shirt (synthetics are potentially flammable). Make
sure your jeans fit over the tops of your closed-toe shoes or boots so nothing hot can fall in.
  • Safety glasses and earplugs are available, or bring your own.
  • Bringing your own leather riggers gloves is a good idea or use ours. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Fridge available. 5 minutes early is helpful too.

Will I be able to do blacksmithing even if I dont have much strength?
Yes.....Hammer size is matched to your body size and and special issues may have . Just chat to the instructor before the session. We are very conscious of making the experience enjoyable for you. Also the material size is also matched to suit you.
Is forging dangerous?
No... but you need to be attentive at the initial safety induction before the commencement of every session. You are always monitored throughout your session.
