What you'll do
Learn some great gardening skills in this Kokedama class. They’re fun things to do in Melbourne and will give you a chance to connect with nature.
Not sure what a kokedama ball is? We’ll teach you! It’s a hanging decoration plant where moss has been wrapped around the roots. Then, some string is tied around it so it can be suspended from a ceiling or wall hook.
In this DIY workshop, you will learn how to make this Japanese moss ball and get your hands dirty with some soil. It’s great for beginners and plant lovers who want a splash of green in their living space. A kokedama makes for some fabulous home decor!
The class will supply you with the best plants for a kokedama and all the most amazing techniques to make it. When you get home you can make some more friends for it to hang with.
Plants are proven to be excellent mood boosters. Working with soil is great for your mental wellbeing and makes you more productive. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this class and chat with the people around you. As you wind up the string you will unwind your mind.
