Fantastic activity for a hens, the teacher came to our house which was very easy and she Brought all beads and jewellery making equipment. We all made two sets of lovely earrings to take home. Izzy (teacher) was lovely and very helpful. I would highly recommend mate studio.

We made it fun , but the class itself was pretty much just do your own thing . it would have benefited from examples of what to make and how to execute them , prior to being given the clay . Handouts would have been useful .

I was expecting pottery rather than just lump of clay so it wasn’t really possible to make much more than an ashtray or small vase

Thanks for your review Brioni, each participant does receive a block of clay, tools and resources for their participation in the workshop. As outlined in the workshop description ' This pottery class is beginner-friendly and full of tips about moulding clay to make small ceramics like a bowl, ornament, or trinket dish.' We encourage our participants to dream BIG but we all need to start off small working up to creating BIG masterpieces.

Raffia Coil Weaving Workshop: Basket or Earrings

The teacher was very good, but less than a week before the class we were told she wouldn't be able to attend in person. I agreed to a Zoom class with my team. The teacher, Julie had a great energy and handled the instructions well considering the remote direction. However it would have been much better for a remote class that the teacher actually had a Terrarium setup herself to show and tell, instead of just giving verbal directions.

Booked this for a hens party for 10 girls. Great experience with Amy and the team. A couple of days before our event there was a covid scare. Julie was prompt in contacting me and organising the resources to be couriered to our place and for the class to go ahead via zoom. Pleasant teacher and helpful assistant although too much time taken to set up then get started. Paper plates were used for mixing paints, purpose paper sheets could also have been used and I would have liked the water cup refreshed to clean brushes. Paper towels to dry of brushes and spills were obtained from the toilet by one if the participants. An easel would have also been helpful. Enjoyable once zoned in to painting.

Our workplace did this workshop as an end of year event. We had a great teacher and a lot of fun. The workshop was held in our meeting room and our teacher had enough supplies to ensure that everything was kept clean and neat. The most disappointing thing about the whole class was that our 'terrariums' were in fact foil BBQ trays - despite the class description saying everything would be supplied. Some of our staff would have appreciated prior notice of this so that they could have supplied their own terrarium for the workshop.

We did a fresh flower workshop at home for my sister’s kitchen tea party. It was an amazing afternoon and everyone had a lovely time. Working with the fresh flowers was really therapeutic. Flower arranging Class was enjoyable Lilly was lovely. We had asked for dried flowers as we wanted them to last paying $90 per person but had fresh flowers instead, when asked Lilly explained that there was a mix up and there was no dried flowers. This seemed to be out of her control and she was super lovely but we were a little disappointed as our flowers were dying the next day. Despite this the class was enjoyable and we all ended up with beautiful bunches.

Found the clay work very therapeutic and enjoyable and I would /have recommended to others. I found the cost to be on the expensive side, we only had 4 people on the day rather than 6 people, I would have been happy to receive the extra clay to use afterward to make up for cost but this was not offered. Teacher Izzy was FANTASTIC. absolutely could not fault her - we did have a great time together However the communication from the company Eddes studio was deplorable. They changed to virtual last minute despite being in a no lockdown zone. Hi there, I am sad to say but I was very disappointed with the pottery workshop. We had 7 people attend who paid $69 each. Firstly only 2 days beforehand we were told our booking time needed to changed which was a bit tricky as we had other things planned for the day/night. The girl that arrived to do the class was lovely, but all she brought was 7 packets of $11.99 air dry clay (i checked online to see how much they would cost) when she arrived she said she had forgotten plates for us to work on so we needed to provide some. Teacher was happy and friendly. She arrived on time and set everything up ready for us to go. Needs to think about what resources they bring. When we have to mix a lot of soil and sand, bringing only small foil containers is a bit silly - big cheap mixing bowls would make more sense. A small portable vacuum would also be a suggestion.

The host was friendly and helpful. However the venue is within a pub/pizza restaurant that was hard to find, and we had 1 or 2 downlights at the working table which was not exactly bright enough for this type of workshop. The beads selection was quite limited. I was expecting tassels, polymer clays, and geometric shape, different type of material that are more funky and trendy, like what is shown on the main photo. What we were provided were mostly crystals, round beads, oval shaped stones etc which is not really my style. And at 8:30pm the venue + more

Instructor was a no show, due to feeling “unwell” we got extremely late notice, via text message at close to midnight the night before, very disappointing, company did not even bother to try to reschedule or find another instructor, they just canceled !

Taylor is such a fantastic facilitator. She was warm and friendly from my first interaction with her. All my guests had a great time and were raving about the painting class. Many of the group had never painted before but we were all so happy with the outcome. I would recommend this class to all!

Was originally cancelled with not even 5 days notice with no resolution or options to change days. I then enquired if there was anything I could do as it was late notice and I was unable to book something else with late notice. They offered to send a diy kit with email instructions with a small discount. They arrived on time but appeared to already be in bunches with not much to do. We had to pay to buy pots and some more floral supplies such as wire and tape to make it work. We ended up having fun because we made it fun but would have been much + more

We had Alison and she was great! It was such a relaxed and fun activity and she brought everything we needed so it was so nice not to worry about anything but spending time together. She was very helpful and everyone loved their individual wreaths.

Amy was a good teacher, encouraging and helpful. I was a little disappointed she arrived late however I am grateful for her travelling to us and being able to do the class in my own home. The materials were beautiful - varieties of dried flowers I hadn't seen before. It was good to learn how to place the flowers and see that there is really no wrong way to do it. All 7 of us had different ideas and all turned out beautifully. I would recommend this class to others. After putting it on social media, it had a lot of interest from friends. Thank + more

Aimee was great, very relaxed and up for a laugh which suited our group very well. Really enjoyed the class, the only thing that might make it better is to be shown some more specific techniques with the leaves and scalpel
