Martin was very friendly and knowledgeable and shared his enthusiasm for mead making in a very informative and interesting manner.
We sampled 6 of his current mead flavours and also a variety of his honey products.
Certainly good value for money and would recommend to anybody who is looking for a different experience

We booked a tasting during a long weekend stay in the Hunter. Our host was really knowledgeable and entertaining. Co-host Ricky was very friendly also! The venue was lovely, well set up and with a beautiful outlook over neighbouring grapevines. We were able to choose 6 different meads to taste, and a selection of honey products, and wow they were beautiful! We purchased a couple of our favourites to take home. As a family of beekeepers ourselves it was a fascinating experience to learn about a different honey product we haven’t explored ourselves. Thank you so much, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and if we find ourselves in the hunter again we will pay you a visit!

We really enjoyed our mead and honey tasting experience. Martin was very knowledgeable about mead and was interesting listening to how he started his business. The flavours we got to try were also very unique.

My husband found this through a instagram ad, and we went for his birthday with the family. He rarely finds things he wants to do, and this is right up his alley. We tasted 6 meads each, and got to choose the flavours, and then 6 different flavoured honey varieties, including an outstanding chilli honey! This is such great value for money, the meads were different, surprising and delicious. The honeys were amazing. We bought heaps of each to take home, including Viking inspired cups and steins.

This was a wonderful experience. Martin was a great host with a lot of knowledge on the products. A great range of flavours to try in Mead also the honey flavours were delicious. I would recommend for something different when in the Hunter Valley.

It was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a great time with my partner and was able to get a bottle of the last mana potion. Will definitely be coming back

Martin was very welcoming and knowledgeable about all things Mead and Honey. The Mead tasting was relaxed and delish. The venue was small enough to ask questions or listen to others questions throughout the session.
Finishing off with a tasting of several raw honey flavours was lovely.

Good selection of meads to sample. Our favourite was the cherry coconut and the passionfruit flavours. You also get to sample different flavours of honey at the end. The honey with chilli is really good and had a real kick!

Highly recommend visiting, not far from polkobin.

This was an amazing and unique tasting experience. My favourite meads were the original, watermelon, peach amd passionfruit, and lemon lime.

Martin is obviously very passionate and knowledgeable about his craft. He was very helpful with all of our questions and I learnt a lot from the tasting today.

Fantastic experience and tasty mead. It is a must do when visiting the hunter wine region. We booked a tasting of mead and honey and it was the best thing we did all weekend. We learned a lot about how mead is made and how it is flavoured. We couldn't decide which was our favourite they are all so good. We loved the Turkish delight, peach and passionfruit, cherry and coconut, and lemon lime.
The flavoured honey is to die for, especially vanilla infused honey.
The owner / host was so friendly and helpful. He is so passionate about what he does and it shows in his professional but laid back style. Great local business and I recommend anyone in the area should book a tasting.
