I’m Ze Weng, founder of Iceberg Media, a Perth-based photography and videography business I started in 2005. What began as a passion for capturing meaningful moments grew into a business built around helping people and brands tell their stories with clarity, authenticity, and impact.Over the years, I realised photography was never just about taking beautiful images. It was about creating visuals that help businesses grow, build trust, and connect with their audience. That shift was a pivotal moment for me. It pushed me to move beyond working solo and build Iceberg Media into a creative partner that acts as an extension of our clients’ marketing and visual teams.I’m passionate about this craft because great imagery has the power to make people feel something, remember something, and take action. Whether I’m creating professional headshots, brand imagery, event coverage, or video content, I love helping people show up confidently and consistently.What I also enjoy is teaching and sharing what I’ve learned. After being in the industry for 20 years, I know that many people feel overwhelmed by photography, content creation, or even how to present themselves visually. I love making those things feel simpler, more approachable, and more practical. Teaching gives me the chance to help others grow in confidence, develop their skills, and see their own potential more clearly.Something people may not know about me is that I’m always focused on outcomes, not just output. I don’t count the hours or obsess over the clock. I care about delivering the right result and finding solutions that genuinely help my clients. That hands-on, customer-first mindset has shaped the way I work and the reputation I’ve built.I’m a Chinese Malaysian born entrepreneur based in Perth, and I’ve had the privilege of working with clients across retail, hospitality, technology, B2B, mining, and many other industries. My experience spans photography, videography, podcast production, and social media content, which gives me a broad understanding of how strong visuals support business growth.Today, Iceberg Media works with businesses in Perth, across Western Australia, and globally.
