Hi, I'm Milo, an illustrator, graphic designer, and lifelong artist based in Canberra.I hold a Bachelor of Graphic Design and have spent more than 20 years developing my drawing skills through life drawing, landscape sketching, illustration, and visual storytelling. My passion is helping people discover that drawing isn't about natural talent—it's a skill that anyone can learn with the right guidance.My classes focus on building confidence through simple, practical techniques. You'll learn how to see shapes, understand light and shadow, create convincing form, and develop your own style in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether you've never picked up a pencil before or you're returning to art after many years, you'll leave each class with new skills and a finished drawing to be proud of.I believe drawing is more than creating pictures. It encourages observation, patience, creativity, and mindfulness, providing a welcome break from the pace of everyday life.When I'm not teaching, I'm working on my own illustration projects, including a fantasy graphic novel inspired by classic adventure stories and role-playing games.I look forward to helping you discover the enjoyment and confidence that comes from learning to draw.
