What you'll do
Get together to celebrate your upcoming wedding, have fun, laugh and get to know Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, in this enjoyable class. If you're looking for creative, relaxing hens party ideas, an Ikebana workshop is the perfect option.
Your registered Sogetsu Ikebana teacher will come to your venue with all materials and equipment. You will each create two beautiful Japanese style flower arrangements to take home.
Your expert teacher will introduce you to Ikebana, providing demonstrations and supportive guidance throughout. You'll feel fully immersed in the experience as you and your friends learn about mindfully arranging flowers and foliage to make a gorgeous table arrangement.
With years of in-depth knowledge of this special craft, your teacher will also show you how to place and fix plant materials within your vessels to help you create with flowers while you have fun together and celebrate.
At the end of the class, return home with your Ikebana flower arrangements, as well as fond memories spent with your best friends!

Practising Ikebana under her official Japanese teaching name, Shoto, Aileen is a qualified Sogetsu Ikebana teacher with a background in art and information technologies.
