What you'll do
Looking for natural alternatives to store-bought products? Join Perth Soapworks for their beginner-friendly lotion making workshop in Perth and create three of your own luxurious lotions to take home or gift to a loved one.
In this workshop, you'll be guided by a friendly expert through the step by step process of making DIY natural products from scratch. To begin, you'll learn about the benefits of using natural ingredients in your products.
Then following the teacher's special formula you'll get hands-on with a range of vegan-friendly ingredients to make three lotions (a 300 mL and two 120 mL jars) free from harmful chemicals that will make your skin glow!
You'll also learn how to customise your lotions by colouring and scenting them using a range of natural colours, clays and essential oils. Make your own unique signature scent and create a product that you'll use time and time again!
Ingredients used to make your lotions include (but are not limited to):

Hi, I'm Narda. I am Fremantle born and have been making my own body products since the early '80s. I have always been concerned about the number of chemicals and packaging that we are supposed to accept as normal, that appear in and on our food and household products.
So I swapped chemicals for nourishing ingredients and packaging for solid versions of everyday products such as beautiful soap, shampoo bars (soap-free), solid detergent bars, face cleansers, deodorant and more.
I also love creating beautiful things! I suppose being the daughter of a painter and art teacher, and taking that career path myself early on in life, I have been lucky to be able to create, make, renovate, invent, sell and give my creations my whole life.
