Join us for an immersive nature journaling workshop where you will unleash your creativity and connect with the stunning natural surroundings of the lower Blue Mountains. During this 2-hour workshop, you will learn how to observe and capture the beauty of plant life through drawing and painting.
No prior experience is necessary for this workshop - you will be guided every step of the way in a supportive and encouraging environment. Feel free to ask questions, experiment with different techniques, and embrace the process of creating art inspired by nature.
  • The workshop will begin with an easy walk in the picturesque Blue Mountains reserve in Glenbrook.
  • You will collect leaves and various plant materials to use as inspiration for your artwork.
  • After the nature walk, we will relocate to the Blue Mountains Creative Arts Centre, just 5 minutes away.
  • Using the journal provided, you will have the opportunity to sketch, paint, or collage your interpretation of the plant life you have observed and collected.
Immerse yourself in this enriching experience that will not only ignite your creativity but also provide a sense of tranquillity and connection to nature. At the end of the workshop, you will take home your unique nature-inspired journal filled with your artistic creations as a beautiful memento of the day. In this 2 hour workshop you will start with an easy walk in nature in the beautiful Blue Mountains - at a reserve in Glenbrook. You will collect leaves and other plant material to draw or paint. Then we head 5 minutes away to the Blue Mountains Creative Arts Centre and you will sketch/paint/collage your impression of the plant life you have see and collected in the journal provided.

FAQ

What happens if its raining?
We will meet at the reserve and if it is raining too heavily to walk - we will go straight to the Arts centre and use the plants that have already been collected.
