Your teacher
Bacarreza is an artist from Santiago, Chile.He expressed early an interest in art, promoted by his Artist mother. As a teenager after finishing high school, Bacarreza went on to study Fine Arts at the Finis Terrae University in Santiago. The eclecticism of his work over the years has managed to bring together the oneiric world and fantasy, through figuration and realism; he colors the canvas telling stories.His artworks made in oils are inspired by periods such as the Baroque, the Romanticism; and artists such as Ilya Repin, Joaquin Sorolla, Frank W. Benson, among others. Bacarreza moved to Australia in 2017, first living in Sydney on the East Coast and then in 2018 he moved to Perth on the West Coast, which is where he now calls his home. He has just completed a successful exhibition at the Art Space Collective in Perth as part of the Fringe Festival at the beginning of this year.Bacarreza is currently working on his next exhibition.
