A one-on-one wheel throwing workshop in Perth customised to suit your skill level.

3 hours Class size 1 to 2 (public classes), 1 to 18

label $240 (or 4 payments of $60 Afterpay)

Join this wheel throwing class in Perth and learn the art of pottery in the idyllic setting of my outdoor home studio in Noranda. This workshop is designed for beginners and those looking to improve their pottery skills. No previous experience is necessary, I will tailor the course to your skill set and needs.

I will guide you through the basic foundations of wheel throwing. This is a fun and meditative experience, a chance for you to express yourself creatively.

The workshop will be tailored to your skill set and needs. If there are specific techniques you want to brush up on or if you're struggling with certain aspects of wheel throwing, I will provide personalised guidance to help you overcome any challenges.

At the end of the class, you'll have your finished functional pieces. We will professionally trim and glaze your creations for you and they can be picked up at a later date.

Please note — we will handle your pieces with care, however, your final pieces are not guaranteed to turn out perfectly. Glaze flaws, warpage, and surface cracks are common even for experienced potters.

Terms and conditions:

  • All pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 8 weeks from the workshop date.
  • All participants will be notified via email when pieces are ready for pickup.
  • No replacement classes will be provided for those missed—we suggest putting your booked class in your calendar so you won’t forget about it, as we do not always send reminders.

Your teacher

As a child, I spent a lot of time drawing, painting, sewing and learning to sculpt with my Grandad. But as I grew older, I somehow lost that spark of creativity.

I’d graduated with a Marketing degree I was never going to use and I was working in an office job with no sense of direction.

At 21, I moved to London. It was in this city that I discovered my passion for ceramics and reignited my love for working with my hands.

I’m now back and creating in Perth.
