I am Karina and I am a ceramic artist, business owner and teacher based in Crows Nest on the upper north shore in Sydney. My passion for ceramics started out as a hobby in 2016 and over the last two years has really grown into a small business with a focus on handmade small batch ceramics and tailor-made events for clay lovers and learners.

I have a passion for teaching and making. I'm a very social person and I love meeting new people, teaching others how to create ceramics and explore clay, hosting events and collaborating with other businesses in fun and creative ways.

I hope that I can teach you to make something beautiful.

I’ve did a 6 week course at Klaypots and now attend open studio sessions.
It’s great being able to come in and create at my own pace in such a beautiful studio.
All the staff are so friendly and supportive, it’s a really fun atmosphere.
I’ve learned so much and would definitely recommend Klaypots to learn and develop your skills in pottery.

Honestly, just so so so much fun! I have done the 6 week course and from there, I have become addicted! I now keep booking myself in for more classes and every time I go, it does not disappoint! The new studio looks incredible too ????????????

Recently completed a 6-week hand building course at Klaypots and loved it, will definitely be doing more open classes to continue making more pieces! It’s a lovely community of great teachers and fellow pottery lovers.

Another great studio session! Can't wait to glaze and fire once I've made enough pieces. Hopefully more dates will be added :)

Did the 6 Week Beginners Wheel Throwing course and loved it and the studio so much, I'm coming back for more practise during their open studio nights! You can purchase a bag of clay and have access to their tools so you're able to create your own pieces and teachers are there if you need a little assistance but ultimately you work at your own pace and do you're own thing, which is awesome!
Karina and Leia (open studio) are amazing at making your pottery experience very fun and comfortable for learning

I loved attending the Open Studio session at Klaypots. The space and staff are so welcoming and the creative outlet is just what is needed after a day of work. Highly recommend it to anyone who has finished a course and wants to continue their journey! Thank you Karina and team.

What more could you ask for? Just a casual vibe where you can chat, throw clay, and/or just get lost in it. .
