No experience is necessary and beginners are totally welcome.Since this is a private group session, you and your group can choose which artwork you would like to paint. - 4/5 from Leah Wardle, attended Feb 2025: Zara was a great teacher but the venue wasn't ideal as super loud as we were pretty much in the centre of the pub which made it really hard to hear the instructions. She tried her best but the entire location wasn't ideal. Everyone had an enjoyable time otherwise Thank you

Although we painted individually, it was still a fun experience that helped us relax, converse, laugh, and enjoy each other's company outside of work. Our teacher, Paris, was lovely. We decided to go with a 'Beach' theme for the painting, and initially, we were all a little nervous when we first looked at the samples. However, Paris was very clear with her instructions and offered great help, which put us all at ease. Additionally, everything was set up and ready for us when we arrived. We can't wait to participate in another class.
- 4/5 from Celeste Sykes, attended Jul 2023: We liked the venue, open, roomy and comfortable. teacher wasnt loud enough, didnt introduce herself, if she did, i didnt hear her, couldnt hear her very well with instructions as she spoke quietly. we discussed in detail what i wanted to paint moments before the lesson started but we painted something slightly different. she did walk around and check our paintings regularly though which was good but she didnt really say much, maybe shes new to this. Nice enough young girl overall. We enjoyed painting as a family and enjoyed a meal there afterwards

Then during her introduction mentioned we only have 1.5hrs since we started late. I then had to show her my booking confirmation showing we were actually booked in for 2:30-4:30pm. - At The Bavarian, Surfers Paradise, Emma and the staff set up our group of 8 in the window-front corner. We took a while to settle because half of the table was in the hot sun and no one wanted to sit there. We persevered and three of our team members sweated through the whole class. It was also difficult for them to see what they were painting on the canvas properly with the sunlight shining on it. Emma said she's never taught a class there before. I wouldn't recommend you doing another paint and sip session in that spot again. - The Bavarian Haus Restaurant ran out of Ginger Beer, so only two out of five team members could have a second drink of ginger beer. Was a bit disappointing.

I'm a Brisbane-based artist, and I've been painting and drawing since my early childhood days. I was fortunate to receive a scholarship from the Queensland Art Gallery, which gave me ample opportunity to pursue my passion and hone my skills.I'm very much inspired by the beauty and diversity of Australia. Many of my paintings focus on landscapes, surrealism, animals, and people. North Queensland is a particular favorite, and you'll see the influence of coral seas and mountain landscapes throughout my artwork. I have a post-impressionist style through which I try to capture the wonder of the world around us.I specialize in pastel on card and acrylic on canvas, though I'm also experimenting with abstract and airbrush.I've been fortunate enough to display my work in many art exhibitions and have been the recipient of many prizes and awards.I offer Paint and Sip sessions along with Clay and Sip sessions, both at discounted rates for ClassBento Patrons.
