My passion for palette painting was developed gradually as I tried my hands and worked with different mediums done master classes and workshops attended a two year course at Claremont art college learned a lot have sold different work of art always three dimensional with tiles, glass, ceramic porcelain made a porcelain doll from scratch creating the full body in clay then the mold and painting the face body and crated her hair and clothes and won! So sassy sits in her chair with her first place ribbon. designed and sold a few pieces torsos of the human body in cement sand, stones!!! And sold them all have lots of fun mixing the mediums and started to like the three dimensional freedom that you get it’s more real more alive as I discovered the use of adding volume to the acrylic paints it become what I wanted to do I have enjoyed working with all other mediums and kept coming to the dimensional palette painting you can surprise yourself every single time I looked at my piece and said wow I made this it’s a nice feeling learned a lot when I did zoom workshops quite an interesting experience specially during lock down Covd looking back as to when it really started is when I was 7 years old and my dad took me to the school fair and encouraged me to go for a painting competition he said used all the colours you love have fun and I did and won my first set of watercolours and a set of brushes and a watercolour book went home so happy that I started to paint anything and kept going and still am I like to encourage everyone to dare themself to have a go from a blank canvas to a piece so unique can only be done once the funny thing is that even if you go and do it again is different every single time and that’s amazing!!!
