Q: How many people will be in each workshop?
To ensure a relaxed and personalised experience, our workshops are conducted in small groups, allowing each guest to receive individual guidance throughout the fragrance creation process.
Q: Is there a minimum age requirement?
Guests aged 15 years and over are welcome to attend our workshops independently. Guests under 15 are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Q: Do you host bridal showers, birthdays, and private events?
Yes. We offer private fragrance experiences for birthdays, bridal showers, corporate team building, hens celebrations, and other special occasions. Private events can be hosted at our Adelaide atelier or at your preferred venue. Please contact us to discuss your event and create a tailored experience.
Q: Do you offer gift cards?

Q: What if I need to reschedule my booking?

My interest in perfumery began with a simple love of fragrance. For years, I explored fragrances from a wide range of perfume houses, always drawn to scents that felt personal — those that reminded me of a particular place, person or moment.Over time, I became increasingly curious about what goes into a fragrance and how individual materials come together to create something so personal. That curiosity led me to study perfumery, and I later received my certification from the Association Française des Fragrances du Monde (AFFM).I founded BOHSEM around a simple idea: the scent that resonates with you is the scent that belongs to you.What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing how differently people experience scent. The same material can remind one person of a childhood memory and someone else of a garden, a holiday or a person they love. There are no right or wrong preferences, and you don't need any previous knowledge of perfume to create something that feels entirely your own.In my workshops, I introduce guests to more than 50 carefully selected perfumery materials and the fundamentals of fragrance composition. From there, we smell, experiment and refine together. Each guest creates three individual trial blends before developing their final fragrance, with plenty of guidance along the way.For me, the best part is seeing someone smell their finished perfume and realise they've created something that genuinely feels like their own.
