What you'll do
Discover the wide world of scents at this perfume making workshop in Kensington Park! You'll learn all about what elements go into a completed perfume and create and blend a scent that you connect with and that is uniquely yours.
As you enjoy a glass of champagne - or juice/tea if you prefer - your expert instructor will show you smelling techniques and tips for how to blend different scents together. You don't need any experience at all to attend this workshop and create a lovely scent all your own.
Whether you want to work exclusively with natural scents such as essential oils, or incorporate more man-made fragrance elements, you'll have over 150 perfumery materials to choose from. Your instructor will be able to help you find exactly what you want.
You will leave this perfumery class with a 30mL bottle of eau de parfum you made yourself! You'll also get to give it a special name, and Red Rosie will keep your formula on file so you can re-order it whenever you like. This workshop is a great opportunity to treat yourself to a special day of pampering, and also makes a great choice for birthday and hens parties.

Red Rosie is a locally-owned, first-of-its-kind scent studio in Australia. Offering workshops dedicated to finding your signature scent, we capture emotions and aspirations to deliver as candles or perfumes in our guided workshops made to satisfy even the most curious of noses.
Our workshops are a hands-on scent designing experience where you have full rein to explore everything from naturally-occurring scents such as vetiver or rose absolute, to the sweet spices of cardamom and clove, or the more man-made experiences of freshly cut green grass and petrichor. Everyone’s nose is different and we want to help you find the scent that encapsulates you – there are no right or wrong answers here.
Relaxed and fun, our workshops are the perfect gift for a loved one, a bridal party, or just a rainy day activity. Everything is provided so all you need to do is sip, smell and socialise as you are guided through this one-of-a-kind, scent-sational workshop. You will receive a complimentary drink upon arrival.
