I love teaching resin workshops to anyone over 18 across South Australia. I travel regional and across the suburbs of Adelaide. Working with NDIS clients and people from all walks of life have helped me in developing a step by step process in teaching.

I want anyone to be able to learn the art of resin, and in a caring environment, I provide any person with the tools to achieve a great piece of artwork.

Resin is a great medium to learn, incorporating a little bit of science and know-how of how this chemical can be turned into art. I use is a non-solvent, biodegradable, low viscosity resin that has very little smell and is safe to work with. I take safety very seriously and all my students are taught safety with resin before we start to create.

Resin is an art form that is very forgiving, therefore you barely need any artist bone in your body.

Great class, Mel was very patient and helpful and provided drinks, nibbles, all teh materials etc. Just be aware that if you want a certain type or colour of board you might be best to bring your own - I wasn't expecting a black board, in the end it looks great but just check with the teacher what she has available,

Really enjoyable class. Mel was warm, helpful and explained things well. All materials were provided. Venue was very interesting too, surrounded by an excellent range of indigenous and local art.

Class teacher was very helpful and thorough. All equipment was supplied. The venue was really nice. Small, comfortable and nice surroundings. High tea at the end was lovely and especially touch. Really disappointed. Unfortunately my resin did not set as although I thought I'd been really thorough and careful I must have somehow got the resin ratios wrong. Doing it again will be good practise and learning.
