What you'll do

In this Perth workshop, we will be working on a slab of polymer clay and learning basic techniques to add designs onto the slab and create your own earrings!

This is a beginners workshop and all materials will be provided. Your teacher will guide you through the earring making process and how to work with polymer clay and add your own funky designs.

Any earrings that you create from your slab of polymer clay, you get to keep! The session will run for three hours and will include curing time for your earrings.

At the end of the hands-on workshop, you'll leave with your own handmade polymer clay earrings and the skills to continue earring making at home! This fun and relaxing workshop is perfect for anyone looking for fun things to do in Perth on the weekend.

I started making polymer clay earrings as a way to de-stress from the craziness that life brings and it slowly turned into a little business!

I started doing workshops to teach others how to make their own polymer clay earrings and it's been so much fun! I get to meet so many creatives and different people who share their story with me too.

Yay I finally touched polymer clay something I’ve been interested in learning for so long.
We created a slab of polymer clay and did earrings!

Loved the tiny intrinsicate work that went into it, the tiny flowers, petals and leaves and the second pair is still a work in progress. Thanks Isabella loved it, I can’t wait to do more!

11/10 would recommend this class! My best friend and I had so much fun making our own earrings in the relaxed, chill vibes of the studio space. Isabelle was such a lovely presence and gave you as much or as little help as you needed. Lots of time to create many earring designs (it helps if you come in with some ideas) and you can even go home with a little pack to finish if you're not done with your last pair. Cannot recommend this class enough! Now we're excited to see what other classes The Sunshine Lane offers.

I had a *GREAT* time doing this class! We learned how to make leaves and flowers and various other things, then made our own earrings, with support if we needed it.

I use a wheelchair. The building has two doors with small steps. Isabella got a ramp for me, nothing was an issue.

I would absolutely recommend anyone to do this workshop. Both of the facilitators were friendly, helpful and genuine. I wish the best for them, and know that anyone doing the workshop will enjoy it as much as I did.

Isabelle was fantastic, felt comfortable from the minute I walked in. The materials were all provided and the learning was self paced but perfect for a beginner. The parking was also good, the venue was wonderful (clean, well lit and stocked). Loved the small class sizes also, meant you got a bit more attention when needed.

A nice afternoon out doing something creative with a bonus of snacks! I did feel the facilitator should have made more of an effort to teach/instruct/guide those who had paid to learn from her. While a very nice person, she held back in case anyone came to her/asked a question (which she would happily answer) when I think most would have benefited from her proactively checking in with each person, engaging with them and offering suggestions for how to create what they were envisioning.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class and learnt how to make an assortment of flowers, leaves, bees and work the polymer slab base in preparation for adding other clay pieces. Our teacher was wonderful in her explanations and spent time at each table giving us tips and encouraging us to experiment. She supplied absolutely everything we needed for our project and had the tables fully prepared for when we arrived. She also supplied a lovely afternoon tea.
I ended up with two sets of ear rings and the desire and enthusiasm to continue trying new designs and techniques at home.
This course would be a wonderful gift for friends or family or just indulging your own inner creativity. Thoroughly recommend doing if you get the opportunity.

Fabulous workshop today had such a fun time making a set of earrings. The venue was a bit cold if you are going in winter so rug up. All the clay and tools provided were great and there was a fantastic range of colours to choose from. The teacher is so lovely. Thanks for a great class.
