What you'll do
Want to learn how to paint your own pottery? Join Amy from Deep Blue Ceramics for a hands-on pottery painting class in Canberra.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn a little bit about clay decorating and then choose some prepared pottery that we’ve made for you.
You’ll get to let your creativity shine painting directly into the pottery using our special underglaze paints which set into the clay when it gets fired. Finished products will be food and dishwasher-safe.
After the workshop, Amy will take your creations back to the studio to dry, be fired and clear glazed and fired again before you can collect them approximately three to four weeks later. Or if you’re from out of Canberra we can post to you instead.
You'll have your very own decorated pottery, how awesome is that!

Devoid of creativity for much of her previous professional life she fell head first into Ceramics; learning, making, sharing and teaching, all after falling in love with a handmade mug purchased at a market.
Amy's classes are welcoming and supportive, beginner friendly one of experiences through to term length courses for intermediate potters. She loves to share #clayplay with individuals and private groups alike!
