IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Pottery is a handmade process, and every piece goes through drying, firing, glazing, and transport between studios. While every care is taken, occasional issues such as cracking, warping, bubbling, glaze defects, or breakage can occur during the ceramic process.
Please note that pottery outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Minor imperfections and variations are part of the handmade nature of ceramics.
If a piece is damaged or lost during the studio process, Mois Art Studio may offer one of the following:
  • A replacement pottery item of similar value;
  • An opportunity to recreate a similar piece;
  • Studio credit equivalent to the value of the pottery item.
Any remedy is limited to the value of the pottery piece itself and does not include workshop fees or sentimental value.
By booking this workshop, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with the ceramic-making process. Mois Art Studio cannot guarantee the final outcome of any ceramic piece. Participation in the workshop constitutes acceptance of these risks as part of the ceramic- making process.

Knowledge required
No experience required, beginner-friendly.
What to bring
Just bring yourself and wear comfortable shoes and clothing that you don’t mind getting a little clay on.
We also discourage long nails as it can be challenging to form your clay.
However, we will assist you as best as we could and as needed during the class.

We learned the basic techniques and had the opportunity to create our own pottery pieces. My favourite part was using the wheel and learning something completely new. The class was fun, creative, and relaxing, and I had a great time. I would definitely recommend it and would love to do another pottery class in the future!

They guided us through every step of the process, which made it much less intimidating and really enjoyable to learn. It’s such a relaxing and soothing activity - perfect if you want to try something creative without it feeling mentally overwhelming. I found it really calming and satisfying to work with the clay. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking to try something new or unwind for an hour. The only downside was that one hour definitely wasn’t enough - I could have happily kept going for much longer!
