Ruth was our teacher and she was so bubbly, friendly and helpful. The instructions were short, simple and precise which allowed us plenty of time to actually make our artwork. My girlfriend loved the experience and I hate to admit that I did too We can’t wait to pick up our pieces once they have cured and book again.

While I know the teacher was being helpful she often took over what we were doing to show us instead of allowing us to actually do it. That said would do again it was a fun experience and would be great with a group if friends

The venue had plenty of wheels and equipment, and much needed clay due to all the failures! It was our first time using the pottery wheel and we both found it to be meditative, (once getting over the stress of wonky bowls) but also lots of fun. Bree was our teacher; she was very knowledgeable and gave good advice; also very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this workshop.

Students were able to use as many balls of clay as we wanted to start again or make another piece. We were asked to bring our own aprons and/or towels. I would suggest wearing clothes you are okay with getting clay on. It did wash out easily regardless. The teacher showed us the steps first, then walked around and helped people individually as needed.

• 4/5 from Chloe Tassone, attended Oct 2022: If you are a true beginer you might beneift from a more one on one personal lesson to fully master the basics of wheel spinning - this class is fun but moves very quickly and you are left to your own devices which is great if you have some basic understanding of how the wheel works, speeds, throwing and centering the clay to then make your pieces.

She made the class feel very personable and was always there to help guide you through. The class was quite large though for only one teacher, I think having two teachers there to help would have made this amazing experience even better. Monique did a great job trying to get to everyone though! They do mention to bring your own apron, though I think adding a note to bring your own old towel aswell as the apron would be helpful as it can get quite messy If you haven’t ever done pottery before this class is perfect! We will definitely be back to try more classes Thanks again Monique
