Come to the Hills for Some Clay Play
We will spend the morning or afternoon on my deck in Wilsons Creek with beautiful views over the valley (you might even spot the ocean) and make some ceramic pieces. For afternoon sessions, you are welcome to BYO wine or alcoholic beverages.
Learn How to Handbuilt
I will show you different hand-building techniques that you can use to bring your vision to life. You will have enough clay to make 1-3 pieces, depending on what you want to create.
Let Your Creativity Run Wild
Decorate your pieces with what comes to mind. I will have clay slips and underglazes available for you to add some colour or any of my stamps & texture tools.
Enjoy Your New Pieces
Trimming and clear glazing with food-safe glaze will be done by me once your pieces are dry and bisque-fired before being fired for a second time. After that, your pieces are ready for you to be picked up (5-8 weeks after the workshop). I can also ship them to you for $20.
