  • 4/5 from Naoko Takata, attended Jun 2026: I felt like running of the class could've been better structured and better explained. As there were multiple lessons/groups taking place, it was a little confusing to figure out who is looking after our group and who we should be paying attention to, at the beginning. A few more sets of paints would've been useful, instead of having to pass around the pots or borrow from another table all the time. But overall, it was a nice, friendly atmosphere and instructors were helpful. And I'm really happy with what we got to make. Thank you!
  • 5/5 from Gemma Weedall, attended May 2026: Took my Mum for her birthday, think she enjoyed it. For a pottery newbie, I found it very approachable. It was mindful, relaxing and satisfying to make two two small pieces - looking forward to picking them up once they are fired and glazed!

  • 5/5 from Barbara Griffiths, attended Jan 2026: I arrived early. 9 participants joined me in making a handmaiden pottery plate/bowl. I made a leaf shaped plate and pressed some leaves into the surface before painting the glaze on. Like most creative activities it was all consuming. Our instruction was very good. This was a gift from my daughter and was very easy to redeem. Overall it was very enjoyable.

  • 5/5 from Michelle Haine, attended Oct 2025: Our teacher was so lovely - warm pleasant vibes - happy to help with anything and so much patience!! Really enjoyed the class - and with such well explained steps, I am looking forward to seeing my product fired/glazed. Thank you
  • 4/5 from Ivy Jem, attended Oct 2025: The teacher gave clear instructions and the class went smoothly. However, I would prefer to have more flowers to decorate the dinnerware.
  • 4/5 from Vickie van Gogh, attended Oct 2025: What a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon. This workshop was a Xmas gift from my Son while visiting. Our teacher was fantastic with lots of caring assistance and loads of help in the basic techniques of building and painting my piece. My only complaint is that the hard stools to sit on were very uncomfortable for my bad back. I am not so young anymore and I need a chair with a back and a little cushioning. 2 hours was more than enough time to complete my project ready for firing.
  • 5/5 from Cassandra Schleyer, attended Aug 2025: The instructors were very helpful and kind making the who process of creating my pittery piece very fun and easy 3 hrs went by very quickly.

I would highly recomment this class to everyone
  • 4/5 from Lauren Rourke, attended Aug 2025: Vivian was truly lovely and gentle with her explanations. The venue was very cold with the roller door open for light and no heating in the middle of winter.
  • 5/5 from Micah Rasigatale, attended Jun 2025: Very enjoyable activity particularly on a rainy day (bring a jumper though in Winter as the studio is cold)! Very easy to purchase as a gift and claim later (3 years expiry). Great activity for any age or skill level. Friendly and helpful teachers. Thanks SGC!
